While Chapman does plan on increasing in size for the next five years it does have a cap of how many students will be in enrolled at the University. Chapman plans on allowing up to 8,700 students to attend. Despite its recent growth, Chapman wants to remain a smaller liberal arts college with intimate professor to student ratios.
Most of the growth will occur in the graduate programs. Of this growth the majority of it will be for the new Rinker campus in Irvine.
Chapman also plans on creating a portion of Villa Park Orchards a site for housing.
