Senior Matthew Martinez is one of fifty applicants that has been accepted into Do Cool Sh*t’s (DCS) entrepreneurial bootcamp to be taking place in December during this upcoming finals week. Majoring in communication studies and minoring in psychology, Matthew is better learning consumer behavior, sharing that he has an interest in professional sales.
Throughout Matthew’s experience at Chapman, he has served the university in roles such as Greek Life Coordinator and Tour Guide, past employee for the Office of Housing and Residence Life, founding father and executive member of the Eta Theta chapter of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, President of new club CU Toastmasters, Mr. University representative, nominee for the Spirit of Chapman Award, and Campus Representative for Show Your Spirit. It is safe to say he is leaving behind positive contributions to Chapman University's campus.
Matthew’s active involvement at Chapman has attracted individuals like Dean of Students Jerry Price and Assistant Director of Cross-Cultural Engagement Erin Pullin to donate and help fund his cause. Dean Price (@CU_DeanPrice) tweeted: “Matt Martinez has given a lot to Chapman, so I'm supporting Matt's dream.
