Sasquatch: Head up to the evergreen state of Washington for this end of spring concert event at The Gorge Amphitheatre near the Columbia River in the town of George. The concert will be going on from May 23-25. Performers include OutKast, The National, Queens of the Stone Age, MIA, Foster The People, Kid Cudi and HAIM. Also, it takes place over a giant cliff, which is symbolic of the abyss of every graduated senior’s life.
Las Vegas: Where better to go after finals and graduation than the place where we leave our regrets and decisions behind on the morning drive back? Take a drive to Vegas with a couple close friends, or caravan, for a night or two at Caesar’s Palace or any other iconic hotel on the strip. There’s always something to do in Vegas as long as you’re legal and willing to spend your graduation money so if you want a getaway, choose Vegas. Just do it.
San Francisco: If you’re looking for a less party-hardy way of celebrating the year’s end, San Francisco is a great place to go with friends or family. You can always kick back and relax in the wineries of Sonoma or take a walk through Haight-Ashbury in the downtown district. There’s also plenty of award-winning food places to choose from that are friendly to a college or post college budget.
